All Recipes Information
All recipes I find either on the internet or in cookery books is as easy to make as it seems. I have come across several recipes that require ingredients I would not be able to find here in my country, and it can be even harder to try and locate a suitable substitute. One good example that springs to mind is cornmeal. All recipes I come across that contains this ingredient I have to ignore because I just cannot find an alternative for it, unless I travel to America to buy some myself – I don’t think so! I am happy to try my hand at all recipes, provided I can locate the ingredients needed. I am always trying to explore new tastes and flavors, and different types of cuisine. My family tends to get bored of the same dishes week in, week out, and are always asking me to cook something different. With the recession we seem to be eating a mixture of ground beef or chicken, and I usually make three different dishes using either of these. When finances allow, we may eat fish or steak, which is a real treat.
The internet is a great source to search for all recipe from cuisines all over the world. The library is another very useful source but sometimes one needs to be a member before being able to borrow any kind of books, so it may not be so easily accessible for everyone. There are also many cookery magazines available nowadays, along with women and home magazines that sometimes contain pull-out sections with all recipes from a variety of cuisines to be found. I have put together a large ring binder with individual plastic pockets where I archive the recipes that I either print off from the internet or keep from magazine pull outs. That way, they are quick and easy to locate when I want them.
Using all recipes that one can get their hands into, and trying them out not only requires a whole lot of positive energy, but also a lot of time, which one is not always in a position to spend, owing to one’s job and business commitments. But even then you will find a few who can be called recipe enthusiast, and they still find out time from their busy schedule to try their hands out at all recipes that they ever manage to come across. One has to find out the best out of all recipes that one finds in the cookery books or in the internet, which suits her best in terms of availability of the main ingredients and time consumed. All recipes are best, if they could be made as is instructed.
